tapeworms in dogs
I have had dogs all of my life. I have only begun the battle with canine tapeworms in the past year. Of course I began at the local veterinarian, but after much expense and constant re-occurance I decided I needed to find an alternative cure for this common pest. Let me start by identifying the sure signs of an infestation in your dog! The dog will constantly feel hungry and beg for food, followed by excessive water drinking. You will be able to see small rice-like segments in their feces. If the infestation goes untreated, there will be quite a weight loss no matter how much or often you feed your dog. Now the great news! You can eradicate the tapeworm with an item found in your kitchen. It is simply garlic. Simply chop or mince a half clove of garlic and mix it with their food for two days. I have found that if you mince the garlic the dogs will not notice it in the food. I have hidden it in hotdogs and also cheese when they are finicky. It really works, and it is cheap! |
